Movie Verdict
Salute, one of the most popular recent crime thrillers, is based on an all-too-real true story. To establish his protagonist’s world and establish a connection with the audience, the director takes his time. Getting into the film’s main plot, on the other hand, takes some time.
The film is saved from boredom by Dulquer Salmaan’s exaggerated performance. The film’s director, Roshan Andrews, did an excellent job of remaining faithful to the story while avoiding any commercial elements. The remaining cast members were equally impressive.
Aslam K Purayil, a gifted cinematographer, as well as Jakes Bejoy’s music, effortlessly captured the film’s premise and visuals.
