Good Luck Sakhi is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language sports romantic comedy film directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, starring Keerthy Suresh, Aadhi Pinisetty, and Jagapathi Babu as lead roles. The dialogues of Good Luck Sakhi are written by debutant Sandeep Raj, and the camera is turned by Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan (2020) fame Chirantan Das. Good Luck Sakhi is produced by Sudheer Chandra Padiri and co-produced by Shravya Varma. The film will also be released in the dubbed versions of Tamil and Malayalam language.

The teaser of the film was disclosed on the instance of Independence Day. The film, which also stars Aadi Pinisetty and Jagapathi Babu in key roles, features Keerthy in the role of a sharpshooter. Good Luck Sakhi marks Nagesh Kukunoor’s debut in Telugu film industry. In a recent interview, he revealed that he’s terrified about finally making a film in Telugu, which is his mother tongue. The film shooting is completely over and the post production will end by the first week of September. According to the latest reports, after the post production is done, producers like Dil Raju will watch the movie along with OTT platform’s representative.
Keerthy Suresh, last seen in Eeshwar Karthic’s Penguin, has a formation of films at different stages of production. She will be next seen in Siva’s Annaatthe. The movie, starring Rajinikanth and Nayanthara in the lead role, also features actors like Keerthy Suresh, Meena, Khushbu Sundar, and others in important roles. The movie produced by Kalanithi Maran under his production banner is slated to hit the marquee during Pongal 2021. The shooting of the upcomer is currently stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the Keerthy Suresh starrer is expected to begin shooting soon.
Story Line:
Movie is about a village attractive girl, who is seen as a mascot for bad things and highly unlucky, turning into World Champion in Shooting Sport. Later, she trains hard to become a sharpshooter and competes at a national level. Helmed as a multilingual, ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ showcases Aadhi Pinisetty as theatre artist Goli Raju and the supporting cast includes Jagapathi Babu, Rahul Ramakrishna and Rama Prabha.
There is a lot of talk around the film as it is expected to have Keerthy essaying a never-before-role, this project is sure to grab all the eyes when it hits the big screen.
