Story

Dongata tells the story of Prasad (Suraj Venjaramood), a typical couple, and Sreeja (Suraj Venjaramood) (Sreeja). Prasad and Sreeja are a married couple who are the parents of two young children (Nimisha Sajayan). Because they come from two very different families, these two newlyweds are having a difficult time adjusting to their new lives. In order to raise money for food while on the bus ride, Prasad and Sreeja sold Sreeja’s gold chain. The gold chain was taken from them by a cunning and innocent thief who was able to get away with it. Following the filing of a complaint against him by the couple, the police began questioning him. He, on the other hand, will not acknowledge that he has done anything wrong. He’s adamant about accepting the case, but will that be enough?

Dongata, a film directed by Dileesh Pothan and starring Suraj Venjaramood, Nimisha Sajayan, and Alencier Ley Lopez, is a good example of how they work together.
