Movie Review
Despite the script’s plodding pace and a predictable plot point, this film picks up steam by the intermission. However, the director did an excellent job. The murder mystery, which unfolded quite well in the second half, is the film’s best asset.
Although Ashish Gandhi’s performance as Babu is strong, his physical appearance does not match the character’s personality. Even though the cast and crew do an excellent job, there could have been more effort put into the production values.
Take a chance on Director if you don’t have anything else to watch; go in with no expectations and you’ll have a good time.
